SPRING 2009 - New laser cavity detection device becomes part of the high technology diagnostic equipment being used in Dr. Lehmann's office. The DIAGNOdent is a pen like probe which uses a small laser light to scan the surface of the tooth to detect changes in the enamel structure and allows us to find hidden decay below the hard tooth structure, even before it is visible on an x-ray.
