Dr. Lehmann Elected to Executive Committee of the PEARL Network
At their Third Annual Conference on May 2-4, 2008 at the IBM Conference Center in Palisades, NY, it was announced that Dr. Maryann Lehmann had been elected to the Executive Committe of the PEARL Network. The PEARL Network is a practitioner based research network, funded by the National Institute of Health, and conducted by the Bluestone Research Center of New York Univeristy College of Dentistry. The network is a group of over 100 dentists who are committed to making a difference in the field of dentistry by conducting clinical research right in their own offices, gathering real world evidence for the prevention and treatment of oral conditions, and because of the size of the group, are able to get important results to the forefront so that healthcare professionals can actually use the information that much sooner, thus improving the quality of care that is delivered.
